I recently discovered Danish knitwear designer Iben Høj. Her pieces are the perfect blend of ethics and aesthetics. I'm captivated by the intricate weaves and their feminine, airy lightness. Her web site pairs images of the garments with stunning shots of nature - I love seeing the inspired details in each piece.
This season she introduced a new cashmere collection produced in collaboration with a small, family run factory in Nepal. "With a keen interest in exquisite technical complexity, considered design and exclusivity, it was no large step launching a small capsule collection of cashmere pieces produced as part of a Fair-Trade project in Kathmandu. The collection consists of 7 key pieces, for relaxation or for dressing up - you decide."
Yes, I'd love one of each please...www.ibenhoej.com
