Recent Press - The Nau Portraits Series

I'm sure you've heard of Nau, the clothing company based in Portland, Oregon who make sustainable urban and outdoor apparel - "integrated designs for the modern mobile life". Have you checked out their Portraits series yet? They feature people who inspire them... writers, designers, artists, advocates - all of whom are forward thinkers. The Spring Provocateurs series features my good friend Allison Arieff. The video is beautifully produced and her message about sustainable design is thoughtful, timely and totally refreshing.

Allison looks lovely in Nau's Chrysalis Dress (one of my favorite pieces in the collection) and check out that necklace... it's one of mine! Her husband commissioned it a few years ago and wow - it looks great on film! The necklace features a vintage glass button, druzy quartz, fossilized coral and recycled sterling silver.

A big thank you to all the Nau folks for the jewelry credit. And thank you Allison for wearing it so well!

You can watch the video here (shot by Filmaker Jordan Kinley):

Here's a link to Nau's blog - The Thought Kitchen, where you'll see some behind the scenes images from Allison's shoot.

Spend some time reading through the Portraits Of Our Friends archive. They feature some really inspiring people...
