This series is inspired by Isamu Noguchi’s 1986 sculpture, Slide Mantra. His lyrical sculpture functions as a slide with steps winding up the back which descend into a beautiful spiral.
The Slide Earrings explore spiraling shells and lily spathe forms. The recess areas have a lovely patina that varies from golden brown to green.
