Leaves Ring - Yellow Bronze

Plump, sculptural, golden leaves wrap luxuriously around the finger. The ring can be worn several ways — turned to the side, flipped around, explored at every angle. The organic carving is beautifully rendered and bursting with life, like wearing a small sculpture. The finish carries a silky texture with smooth, highly polished edges for striking contrast. Light but feeling substantial, almost decadent, the ring was hand-carved on the finger so the shape is organic and genuinely comfortable.

Cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax method, the ring begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. The form tapers from ⅞" wide across the top down to ⅛" wide at the back. Yellow bronze develops a warm patina over time, with the recessed areas deepening as the polished edges stay bright.

Kirsten hand-carved the original wax model directly on her finger, so the form is shaped to the natural curve of the hand. The ring sits organically rather than feeling like a rigid object.
