Slide Bangle - Yellow Bronze

A bold, mysterious bangle that invites the eye to explore every angle. The form draws on spiraling shells and lily spathe shapes, the recessed areas holding a patina ranging from golden brown to green. The bangle reads as sculptural jewelry that stands on its own when off the wrist — a small object as much as a piece to wear.

Cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax method, the bangle begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. The Slide Series takes its inspiration from Isamu Noguchi's 1986 sculpture Slide Mantra. Noguchi's lyrical work functions as a playground slide, with steps winding up the back that descend into a graceful spiral. He believed play could lead to a deeper appreciation of sculpture, and the bangle reflects that belief in bronze.

What is the Slide Series?

Should I choose Large or Small?
