Small Mosaic Earrings - Yellow Bronze

Diamond-shaped Mosaic earrings with a striking green patina inside. They have an ancient feel, like unearthed treasure carrying the patina of time. The flat backs sit cleanly on the ear, while the brutalist visual language draws on Gustav Klimt and architectural fragments.

Cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax method, each earring begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. Verdigris patina fills the recessed pod openings, deepening with wear as the polished surfaces stay bright. Earring posts and backs are sterling silver.

How are these different from the Mosaic Tile Earrings?
The Small Mosaic Pod Earrings are post-style with flat backs that sit cleanly against the ear. The Mosaic Tile Earrings are larger dangle earrings that hang from secure post backs. Same visual language, different scale and wear.

Will the patina change over time?
Yes. The verdigris patina inside the recessed pods will deepen with wear, while the polished center stays bright. Each pair becomes more individual to the wearer.
