Mosaic Ring - Yellow Bronze

This sculptural ring is verdant, like an overgrown, weathered gate or ancient mosaic. The substantial hand-carved band has a unique texture, like rippling water. As the verdigris patina evolves, the color adaptation mirrors the timeless resilience found in organic architecture. With its distinctive pattern and presence, the ring becomes a go-to statement piece.

Cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax method, the ring begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. The substantial band tapers from a full 1" across the top down to 5/16" at the back for a comfortable, secure fit. Verdigris patina fills the recessed pod openings, deepening with wear, while the high points of the carved surface stay burnished.
