Slide Cuff Bracelet - Silver

A statement cuff with a clean, sculptural profile draws the eye along its line. The form nods to a slice of spiraling shell; the mirror-polished top edge catches the light in contrast to the textured sides. The dark oxidation in the recessed areas creates depth across the surface and will continue to evolve naturally with wear.

Cast in sterling silver using the lost-wax method, the cuff begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. Each cast piece is refined through filing and burnishing. The form takes its lineage from Isamu Noguchi's Slide Mantra sculpture, abstracting the monumental gesture into a piece scaled for the body. Noguchi believed that play could lead to a deeper appreciation of sculpture. With its brutalist weight and clean geometry, the cuff reads as both sculptural jewelry and wearable architecture. The silver register reads cooler than its bronze counterpart.
