Slide Cuff Bracelet - Yellow Bronze

A statement cuff with a clean, sculptural profile drawing the eye along its line. The form nods to a slice of spiraling shell; the high-polished top edge catches the light in contrast to the textured sides. The verdigris patina in the recessed areas will change and evolve naturally over time.

Cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax method, the cuff begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. Each cast piece is refined through filing and burnishing. The form takes its lineage from Isamu Noguchi's Slide Mantra sculpture, abstracting the monumental gesture into a piece scaled for the body. Noguchi believed that play could lead to a deeper appreciation of sculpture. With its brutalist weight and clean geometry, the cuff reads as both sculptural jewelry and wearable architecture. Yellow bronze develops a warm patina over time, deepening with wear and the oils of the hand.
