Slide Earrings - Yellow Bronze

The sculptural Slide Earrings explore spiraling shells and lily spathe forms, inspired by Isamu Noguchi's 1986 sculpture Slide Mantra. Noguchi's lyrical work functions as a slide, with steps winding up the back that descend into a graceful spiral. The earrings carry that gesture into wearable scale, the exterior holding a subtle texture while the edges are polished to a bright finish. When the earrings move, light dances between the contrasting colors and textures, each pair unique, dramatic, and sure to get noticed.

Cast in yellow bronze using the lost-wax method, each earring begins as a wax model hand-carved at the bench. The recessed area features a lovely patina that varies from golden brown to green. The earrings hang from gold-filled ear wires, allowing them to swing freely as the head moves.
