Our Commitment

We challenge the jewelry industry's norms by focusing on sustainable practices that protect the planet and respect the people involved in the process. Our commitment to bespoke craftsmanship and ethical luxury is reflected in the use of 100% recycled precious materials and conflict-free stones.

Caring

To care for and clean your artisan handcrafted jewelry, use a soft cloth to gently wipe away dirt and oils before storing. To bring back a little extra shine, wipe the metal with a polishing cloth.

If your KMJ piece needs a deeper clean or repolish, contact Kirsten for a complimentary refresh. Avoid exposing the jewelry to water, harsh chemicals, or extreme temperature changes.

Always remove KMJ pieces featuring delicate materials such as natural stones, organic shells, or gems, before engaging in physical activities. Avoid impact against hard surfaces, which could chip, or scratch the stones. Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or sealed plastic bag to avoid scratches and slow the oxidation process.

With mindful wear and proper care, your handcrafted Kirsten Muenster jewelry will remain a cherished keepsake for generations

Design Philosophy

“I create jewelry that I want to wear, pieces I dream about, that make me feel as if I’ve just discovered and unearthed some rare treasure. Wearing jewelry is such a sensual experience: slipping a smooth metal ring on your finger, wrapping a thickly woven chain around your wrist, or draping a strand of cold stones around your neck - it’s all about the intimacy of touch and becoming one with the jewelry.”
